This UNESCO’s World Heritage listed-town boasts over 1500 trulli, the distinctive whitewashed dwellings with conic slate roofs, white tipped as if dusted by snow, unique to Puglia.

The absolute highlight in Alberobello is the ‘Rione Monti’ which is home to a picturesque congregation of 1200 charming trulli, protected by UNESCO as “unique and exceptional marks of a disappeared civilization”.
